Mitchell is a charismatic and detail oriented personal trainer with almost a decade of experience in the fitness industry. Born and raised in NYC, Mitchell’s first career pursuit was actually in the entertainment industry. That’s correct, he wanted to be an actor! After several years of experience in that medium, he made the confident decision to move on and pursue a different passion, fitness. 

After acquiring his personal training certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), his first foray into training was by working for a national brand corporate gym in lower Manhattan. After a few years filled with client success stories and company-wide achievements, he moved on from the large gym environment to continue his work with private client training. Mitchell worked with clients at private training studios, residential property gyms, and corporate office fitness centers. He has helped guide various levels of clientele toward their respective health & fitness goals. 

In late 2021, Mitchell took a job with a startup fitness company in South Florida. The company – founded by the creator of TRX, offered a chance for Mitchell to expand his training expertise while essentially running his own fitness franchise. At the same time, Mitchell has continued working with clients back in NYC, transitioning them over from traditional in-person training to remote and “DIY” coaching.

Mitchell has never wavered in his desire to help people. One of the benefits of time spent in any industry is gaining perspective. In the near decade Mitchell has been working as a trainer, he has identified the clientele that truly benefit most from his expertise. That specificity combined with the evolution of his training offerings has led to where he is now, creating Beginning-Fit.
